Carer Ticket Application

Yes. You are allowed to bring in your own food so that you can safely monitor any food allergies. In addition some of the food vendors will also be food allergy aware and have their own policies in place.

There are two dedicated medical points across the festival. One is by the information tent which is in between the campsite and the main arena and there is a medical team based in the main arena too. You can pinpoint these on the festival map which you can find on the website. The medical staff are all fully first aid trained, qualified and have plenty of experience at working festivals.

We will be offering the following additional facilities to customers:

– Accessible Parking area, located nearer the festival campsite entrance
– A designated accessible campsite, with accessible toilets, and a accessoloo. Showers will be in close proximity.
– Accessible toilets in the main arena
– Fridge storage for medications
– Dedicated viewing platform by the main stage
– Accessible manager and team on hand to answer any queries

There will be a limited number of powered pitches. There will also be 13amp power points available at the accessible campsite hub. However these cannot be reserved and are available on a first come first serve basis. Please include any requests for power in the ‘access facilities’ application form.

Yes – we offer powered and non-powered live in vehicle pitches in the accessible campsite. Please specify on your ‘access facilities’ application form if you will be bringing a live in vehicle and select the appropriate pitch. Only one live in vehicle per pitch.

If you require a powered pitch then these are charged at £168. Once the accessible campsite request is confirmed you will be sent a link to book your powered pitch.

Accessible customers who require support through a PA or carer, can apply for a free PA/Carer ticket alongside their full price ticket. Please note this is subject to availability.

The accessible customer will need to meet one of the following criteria and supply evidence to support this:

– Receives middle or higher rate Disability Living Allowance for care and/or mobility
– Receives Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
– Is registered D/deaf or blind.
– Holds an “Access Card” – also known as a CredAbility Card or Nimbus Card
– Receives Armed Forces Independence Payment or War Disablement Pension
– Where none of the above apply, a valid medical professional’s letter will be considered.

Requests for PA/carer tickets should be made on our website via the ‘carer ticket’ form. The application will then be reviewed and once approved a PA/carers ticket will be issued.

– Receives middle or higher rate Disability Living Allowance for care and/or mobility

– Receives Armed Forces Independence Payment or War Disablement Pension

Alongside the evidence, you will also need to provide a supporting statement as to why you require a pitch in accessible camping. The application will then be reviewed and confirmation sent via email.

The accessible camping area will be in the same place as last year. Please do note that this is not the quietest campsite, due to it being accessible more for mobility so it is close to the main arena, stage and production area so can be noisy. If there are needs that require a quieter site, you will be best to book in general camping.

Yes – we do have fridge space in accessible camping and also with the medical team in the arena. You can present yourself to the accessible team or the medical team and they will be able to log and store medication for you. You will not need to make an application to do this.

There is a hoist in the shower unit however you will need to bring your own sling.

No, you still have to pay for a parking pass. Accessible parking is not free of charge and you will still need to purchase a car parking ticket. To apply for the accessible car park please complete the ‘access facilities’ form 

Customers wishing to make use of the accessible campsite may be accompanied by their immediate group. If we feel the group size is too big to be accomodated in the pitch space then we will communicate this with the booker. We are unable to offer any additional pitches for extra people or other tents/live in vehicles that are in addition to this group.

Please do not apply for a pitch in the accessible campsite until you have purchased your tickets.

The accessible campsite has a limited number of pitches available and we take each application into careful consideration. Therefore pitches will be prioritised for customers with mobility needs and their immediate families.

The campsite is located in a position near the main stage and arena so it is not classed as a quiet zone. If you need quieter areas to camp then our general admission camping area may be better suited.

We will have a limited number of powered pitches available, these will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. We will endeavour to accomodate requests where reasonable, please include any further information in your ‘access facilities’ application form.

You will find the below facilities in the accessible campsite:

– Wheelchair-accessible toilets
– Acessoloo (including a lift to allow easy access inside the pod, a height-adjustable changing table, toilet with grab rails, motorised hoist, hot water, heat, and plenty of space for users and their carers to move around)
– Showers in close proximity to the accessible campsite
– Sinks and fresh water points
– Fridge for secure medication storage
– Campsite reception

We do have a main route through the festival site that is tarmac’ed. However the festival is set in parkland so wheelchair users will need to navigate around site on uneven grass/ground at times. Assistance may be needed for some parts and in the event of wet weather it may become harder to get around the site, especially in a non-electric wheelchair.

Yes – we will have a dedicated accessible viewing platform in front of the main stage. Due to the limited capacity on the platform, the AVP will be on a first come first served basis and we will only admit the accessible customer plus one additional person. This will be managed by our volunteers and security.

We don’t offer any fast track queues for activities due to the variety of activities in place and no way to operationally make this fair. We understand that at times there may be queues at activities, and we recommend if you’re up and into the festival early you should be able to miss the worst of them. As an alterantive we are looking to continue our hard work from 2023 and where possible offer dedicated actvitiy slots for access customers. We will confirm ahead of the festival any activities offering dedicated slots for access customers.

Customers who wish to purchase tickets via a payment plan and also apply for carer tickets can still apply via the ‘carer ticket’ form https://devon.gonewildfestival.com/carer-tickets/ but please wait until you payment plan has completed.

Please do not purchase the ticket you wish to be a carer ticket through the payment plan as we will not be able to refund this. The application will be approved in the same way only once the payment plan has finished and these tickets have been issued, then the carer ticket will then be issued.
