Customer COVID 19 Policy

The organisers will have various measures in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We ask that customers work together with us to prevent the spread of the virus.

From Monday 16th August, individuals who have received both vaccine doses with 14 days clearance, are no longer legally required to isolate after coming into contact with a positive case. In this case, you may attend the festival, but are advised to take additional precautions; e.g., mask wearing, hand-washing, and social distancing.

Prior to arriving at the festival each attendee must confirm their COVID status by doing one of the following:

  • Obtain an NHS COVID Pass via the NHS App. Passes can be obtained if one of the three conditions below is met:
  • A double vaccine dose has been given
  • A negative PCR or Lateral Flow Test has been taken in the last 48hrs
  • A positive PCR test has been taken within the last 6 months, but you have finished isolating (confirmation of natural immunity)

If you are unable to obtain a COVID Pass through the NHS App, you may substitute this with a screenshot or print-out of your negative Lateral Flow Test registration.

Under 12s do not need to provide confirmation of their status.

Measures we are taking:

  • The majority of the festival is in the open air, where risk of transmission is very low. We have made sure there is enough room in the main stage arena to allow customers to socially distance if they wish. The best place for socially-distanced viewing is toward the back.
  • Some of the festival takes place inside marquees. Wherever possible, we will ventilate these marquees – and for the most part their will be lots of space available. Please bare in mind that some of the more popular activities and performances may mean marquees are busy at times.
  • There will be additional hand sanitizing facilities around the site, please use these regularly.
  • Our facilities will undergo regular cleaning
  • Whilst masks are no longer a legal requirement in enclosed spaces, we ask that customers choose to wear a mask when entering a busy marquee – for example to view a performance or participate in an activity.

COVID Status, Symptoms, and Isolation

You must NOT attend the festival if:

  • You are displaying COVID 19 symptoms (New continuous cough, fever, loss of sense of taste or smell)
  • You have experienced these symptoms in the last 14 days
  • You have been told you must isolate by Test and Trace or the NHS App.
  • You have received a positive COVID test result (either PCR or Lateral Flow) in the last 10 days.

If you test positive then please do NOT attend.

We will roll your ticket over to the following year if you contact us in advance of the festival.
